Lynn Gale is a poet and storyteller living on Treaty Six Territory near asinipwat–muskatayo (Stony Plain, Alberta). She seeks stillness in her life so she can better hear the messages that live in the pauses, and to understand the quiet truths hidden within the past.
A grandmother and yoga teacher, Lynn finds inspiration in simple rituals almond milk lattes in the morning, moonlight in the evening, and dreams of ocean breezes in between.
A Libra, sun worshipper, and grateful earth lover, she moves through life with a deep belief in magic, miracles, and love everlasting.
Her poetry collection L’Opacité explores memory, reflection, and the ways our past can sometimes feel clouded or just out of reach. Through quiet and thoughtful verse, Lynn writes about the layers of experience that shape who we become.
Alongside her poetry, Lynn also writes children’s stories that celebrate imagination, family, and time spent outdoors. Her book Norah and the Great Outdoors follows a young girl exploring nature with curiosity and wonder, inviting young readers to notice the small adventures waiting just beyond the doorstep.
Lynn also writes fiction rooted in the gentle complexities of life and love. In A Heart Creek Second Chance, she tells a story about healing, hope, and the possibility of beginning again.

“L’Opacité is a breathe of fresh air entering a glass house. I felt waves of nostalgia bringing me back in time to my past: to the places, relationships, and homes that held space for the little girls in the world trying to figure out how to step on the treacherous pawn of life.
This book is the sturdy boat carrying you across lakes filled with truths hard to say. It shines the light to empower healing through the dark and celebrates the beginning of a new day”
